Why you aren’t successful

Posted on May 19, 2010

Never before have we’ve been so dependant on our minds in order to survive and thrive in the world. Creative leadership is the key to not only growing an organization but multiplying your personal influence. I believe we are gifted with creativity not for our own personal gain but to help improve the quality of living all around us. Some might say creativity is something reserved for artists or marketers, I would say there could be nothing farther from the truth.

If are not embracing and growing in creativity then expect to be passed up by someone that is.

Check out a recent survey from Fast Company about what it take to lead some of the most successful organizations in the world:

Fast Company’s annual list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business just took on a whole new depth. About 60% of CEOs polled cited creativity as the most important leadership quality, compared with 52% for integrity and 35% for global thinking. Creative leaders are also more prepared to break with the status quo of industry, enterprise and revenue models, and they are 81% more likely to rate innovation as a “crucial capability.”
