PowerPoint is one of the greatest tools ever made for the creative leader. (I know what you are thinking) Really, PowerPoint?! How can something that has been used to bore and abuse millions of teams and employees around the world actually be considered creative? I’m sure many secretly imagine an underground PowerPoint burning party while the boss is out of town because of the countless hours of wasted time viewing meaningless slides.
The tool isn’t problem, it’s the presenter. Like any tool, in the right hands, PowerPoint canĀ be used to transform your presentationĀ from mediocre to memorable. Through this product (or any visual software) you have a chance to inspire visually and make a point that no words can make. It’s a shame how underused or overused it is and the bad rap it gets. Check out this comical view of how not to use PowerPoint and make sure you don’t make the same mistakes.
Thanks Scott for the video.
